A lab with even balance of science and action

Hello!

The website provides some information about LaRA the Lab for Robotics and Automation of HEIG-VD, the West Switzerland University of Applied Sciences at Yverdon-les-Bains*.

The presentation of the laboratory is far from exhaustive here. Teaching aspects are shown with more details on the main website of our School and more particularly in the section of the institute for industrial Automation, iAi

Currently, the site presents, in priority redirection services, starting with sections about publications, events, images and videos. From a scientific and technical perspective, the redirection to PfC-Y (Piaget for Cognitics) and RobocupAtHome (RAH) websites are the first to be worth mentionning. In addition, the site presents, with a particular focus, our activities about mobile robots - ARY, as well as the related initiatives Eurobot and Robocup.

The publications and given links may give you more indications about the activities of LaRA.

***NEWS***

News - 14 October 2018. Dear Visitor, about 6 months have passed since my 65 year old birthday, and my retirement from HEIG-VD! Thanks for what we could already do together until now.

From now on, according to my occasional inclinations, I still plan to maintain or even develop some elements of this website (larae.populus.ch); but it is clear that this is no longer done in the name of the HEIG-VD, but under my own responsibility.

As far as the pre-April 2018 period is concerned, this website (lara.populus.ch) is probably still a good contribution to the LaRA archives. On the other hand, to try to find a continuity, after this date, of the official view of the robotic laboratory, at the HEIG-VD, you should probably click on the official links attached: iAi, HEIG, etc.

In particular, updates have been made in the "publications" section.
